My work combines the painterliness and visual inventiveness of abstract painting, coupled with the tradition of hard-won observation.
It has a feel of places fleetingly, yet vividly remembered. Characteristically, my ambitious landscapes are often seen from an elevation of hundreds of feet, giving a sense of the landmass and its atmosphere.
I have featured on Sky Arts on a number of occasions and have had recently held solo shows in Oxford, Manchester and Stockport. Much of my work is privately owned most notably by several prominent collectors.
